Preface
Nepal, one of the very least developed countries in south asia having two big countries around it. Its northern border is connected with China as east - south - west boarder covers by India. The country's 75 % of lands covers by the remote and rural area and it is a complete landlocked country. As per the present official census, the population of Nepal has reached the number of 23,000,000. the area of the country is 147,181 Sq. Km. And the literacy rate is about 30%. The country's per capital rate falls about 325.00 US$. At a glance, it is found that the country is producing only population rather than any industries and factories where applicable unemployed manpower can be utilized. Though, most of the population of the country is based on agriculture for their lively hood. But, still, the production of only food grain is not enough for human being. There are many things to fulfill the requirement of life which can be exchanged or purchased by money. It is considered that 30% of total population are unemployed in the country's youth group and all are seeking for employment to earn the money.
Keeping in view of the situation and requirement of surrounding, developed and developing neighbour countries, the concept and thinking of certain businessmen have diverted to manpower exporting business. Hence, since past two decades, an informal practice have began for the labour migration (labour/skilldrain) to some of the developed countries like Japan, Korea, USA, Canada, Australia and to European countries by individual effort or through brokers. And gradually the trend of unofficial labour migration to other countries has been increasing year by year. Finally, during late eighties or early nineties the Government has open and started to issue license of Manpower Exporting Agencies. Then after, the registered Agencies have started to export the Nepalese labour force to different countries in Gulf and Southeast Asian countries.
Therefore, in the course of flood tide of manpower business in the country, the birth of this Rose International P. Ltd. Have took place during the year 1998 having the 159th place among current 698 member agencies registered under Labour department of Nepal.
The
